Welcome from our President

Welcome to the AAHPA website. Our membership stretches all across this great State, connecting our 48 member ports and harbors to better serve our maritime community.

Our corporate member Ports and Harbors are facilitators of maritime transportation hubs in Alaska. We plan for, build, manage, maintain, and when the time comes replace this crucial infrastructure that links together.

AAHPA advocates for environmental stewardship and in 2020 we became the host organization for the Alaska Clean Harbors program. AAHPA advocates for education. Our scholarship program is promoting industry related education by offering scholarships to students seeking a career in the maritime industry.

AAHPA advocates for ports and harbors by working hand-in-hand with our State and Federal leaders to meet the challenges of today and the needs of the future in this great maritime state. The AAHPA membership are the experts on the subject of ports and harbors in Alaska. We work together to provide the very best service to our customers and our communities by improving the operational efficiency of Alaska’s municipal owned and operated Ports and Harbors.

Please feel free to browse our website and reach out to us with any questions. We are always looking for a new member, join us and let’s get to work building Alaska‘s future.
